Key Responsibilities

RISE Logistics is seeking a highly motivated, experienced Customer Account Manager. The ideal candidate will have customer-service experience in a fast-paced, high volume startup environment. In this role you will be part of a team focused on client management and real-time troubleshooting and problem solving of pick-ups and deliveries occurring across the state.

This management position is based in our Oakland, CA facility, and will be reporting to the RISE VP of Sales. This role will require you to wear many hats, and requires comfort with the legal cannabis market.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Client Onboarding and relationship management
  • Be a consistent available point of contact for client
  • Systems training to client
  • Interface with logistics team to ensure client’s product pickups and deliveries are seamless
  • Deepening relationships with clients and expanding the services they use
  • Be an advocate for RISE as well as our clients

Desired Skills and Experience

  • At least 2 years of sales, account management, or customer service experience
  • Exceptional communication and customer relations skills
  • Comfortable and excited to work in a fast-paced and quickly evolving startup environment
  • Experience in a high-volume logistics environment strongly preferred
  • Experience with CRMs and customer-management platforms required
  • Ability to dynamically manage and prioritize workload
  • Ability to think strategically and act independently, while also working well within a larger team
